Maternity

I was very blessed to be asked to do Amy's Maternity Photoshoot - it was my first time, and I had a wonderful time.

I was also lucky, that Amy knew what outfit she'd be wearing for the day, it had the perfect mix of Bridal / Maternity - showing off the bump. I believe she did her makeup herself, and it just looks so incredible.

The less editing I have to do for a photoshoot, the quicker I can turn the images around. Amy's pregnancy caused a bit of a redness on her leg, so I used the paint tool to copy the colour of the unbothered skin onto her lower leg, so that it was all a singular seamless colour. No pregnancy affects on show at all.

Sunset is how I got this beautiful warm colour on Amy as well, earthy and warm tones was the vibe, and I am very happy with the outcome. Amy was comfortable and calm - and it really made the photoshoot that much easier - couldn't be more thankful!

The trust, she saw the vision and was open to ideas. The tree was covered with a little too much white dripping down for my liking, so I removed it in Photoshop.

Looking back, I should have removed that vertical stump next to her head - it's drawing attention away.

I am also proud that I was able to use the whole space and keep everything in focus for this photoshoot - it really ads to the ambiance. Perfect outfit + Perfect model + Perfect location = a wonderful photoshoot with many precious memories!

If you're looking for a maternity photographer, I'd love to help!
