The funny thing is, while the perfectly smiling photograph often makes it onto the Christmas card, it’s frequently the “everything else” photographs that people end up loving the most. The laugh. I love pretty birds - these images below are of Rainbow Lorikeet. At a friend's house, I was able to take - literally hundreds - of photos of these beautiful birds. I had a telephoto lense, so that is why the background was naturally blurred within the image. Beautiful birds, beautiful landscape, and a wonderful morning.
