I love pretty birds - these images below are of Rainbow Lorikeet. At a friend's house, I was able to take - literally hundreds - of photos of these beautiful birds.
I had a telephoto lense, so that is why the background was naturally blurred within the image. Beautiful birds, beautiful landscape, and a wonderful morning.

The blurring features is also because I used a central focus point in the camera, to focus on the bird, rather than the whole scene.

Happy little guys having their snacks.

When I studied at The Photography Institute in Sydney, I stued wildlife photography so that I would be able to take any kind of photo that I wanted to - not to be limited by skill.

And just look at the detail - the eyes - the colour - I love it!!
